"Sit, be still, and listen, because you're drunk, and we're at the edge of the roof." -Rumi
Hi everyone,
SCROLL DOWN if you don't want to read my introduction.
What I do: I usually read with cards. I am calm, compassionate, and honest. I welcome skeptics. I welcome people of all backgrounds, and I respect your privacy.
Confidentiality: Your reading is confidential.
Pricing: Readings are by donation only. I am studying to become a chaplain, and I see these readings as a form of chaplaincy, even if you don't--and this is why my sense of ethics is calling me to make this a donation-based service. I do still charge for lessons, classes, and parties. Please do make donations for readings if you're able to; it helps me to be able to continue to keep this policy in place. If you need a suggested donation amount, a good guideline is to pay me whatever you would make in the same amount of time. (And yes, I do report your donations as income to the IRS as income--I'm NOT a nonprofit, so your donation is NOT tax-deductible.) -
Why are you here?People make appointments with me for all sorts of reasons. I'm happy to read for you and I feel called to do so. But:
- If you are depressed or suicidal, I should NOT be your first call. I am happy to read for you, but please ALSO consider other types of expert help. I have a list of resources for you here: http://quietbonnie.com/suicidal/.
- If you have a medical or legal concern, I should NOT be your first call. In this case, your doctor or lawyer is your first line of defense--and I am neither. On the other hand, if you're trying to put a medical or legal concern into a spiritual perspective, or if you're trying to come up with a spiritual approach to help you cope, then yes, I can help with that.
On the other hand, I might be the perfect reader for you if:
- You're an introvert.
- You're feeling judged.
- You're looking for a reader who is inclusive and welcoming.
- You're trying to generate courage to make a change.
- You're trying to understand someone else's point of view.
- You're trying to plan for the year ahead.
- You're trying to articulate your own strengths and find just the right niche for your business or career.
- Bad things have happened and you're struggling to find a perspective on them.
- Good things have happened and you're struggling to find a perspective on them.
- You need to add humor to your perspective.
- You want your reader to be a quirky philosophizing bookworm from Alaska.
This scheduling page below will NOT let you book an appointment less than 12 hours in advance. You can text me at 414-595-8200 if you really feel you need an appointment sooner than that; I may not be able to fit you in or even see your message (sometimes I lose track of my phone), but it's okay to ask.
